While we cannot meet every need, we are committed to listening carefully, praying faithfully, and using the resources God provides as wisely as possible. Our desire is not only to help with today’s challenges but also to encourage hope and opportunities for a stronger tomorrow.

Our Areas of Ministry
Food Assistance
Food insecurity affects many individuals and families throughout Appalachia. Through partnerships with local churches, food pantries, grocery stores, volunteers, and community organizations, Mountain Heart Ministries seeks to provide food assistance to qualifying households during times of need.
Whenever possible, assistance is provided in ways that preserve dignity while helping ensure that families have access to nutritious food.
Pregnancy Support
Every mother deserves encouragement, compassion, and practical support.
Mountain Heart Ministries seeks to walk alongside expectant and new mothers by providing assistance, educational opportunities, and encouragement that help build a stronger future for both mother and child.
Our goal is to support families in ways that strengthen confidence, promote stability, and provide hope for the future.
Families in Crisis
Unexpected hardships can affect anyone.
Whether facing illness, job loss, fire, flood, or another emergency, Mountain Heart Ministries seeks to provide practical assistance while connecting families with churches and community resources whenever possible.
We believe no one should face life’s most difficult moments alone.
Seniors & Individuals with Disabilities
Many elderly and disabled individuals quietly struggle with everyday needs.
Mountain Heart Ministries works with local churches, volunteers, and community partners to help provide practical assistance while honoring the dignity and independence of those we serve.
Our desire is to remind every person that they are valued, remembered, and loved.
Veterans & Military Families
We are deeply grateful for those who have served our nation.
Mountain Heart Ministries desires to support veterans and military families through practical assistance, encouragement, and partnerships with organizations that share our commitment to honoring their service and sacrifice.

Lasting change often begins with opportunity.
Whenever possible, Mountain Heart Ministries encourages education, vocational training, trade skills, and practical employment opportunities that help individuals build brighter futures for themselves and their families.
Rather than simply meeting today’s needs, we seek to encourage pathways toward greater independence and long-term stability.

While resources are limited and we cannot guarantee assistance in every situation, every person will be treated with kindness, respect, and compassion.
